I am a yoga teacher who has been formed over years! A Biomedical Science degree, a thesis on Vagal control of heart rate, a love of exercise and a never ending battle with my body shape has led me to where I am today. A passionate functional yoga instructor! I first discovered yoga many years ago and then developed a regular practice during covid. The transformation of my body, fat loss, toning and a new shape I had never thought possible where the initial drivers to my practice. Quickly I discovered my mat was a place of calm, of peace. I learned and understood the term equanimity and felt my whole life alter slightly. Yoga empowered me to be calmer and happier and to pass this on to others. I trained as Yoga instructor at Hot Yoga Edinburgh, an award winning Yoga Studio with beliefs aligned to my own. I discovered hot yoga and found the benefits endless. Yoga has been so life altering for me, that I felt I could do nothing other than open my own studio to allow other people to make the same discovery. My teaching stlye is fun and my flows strong and dynamic. I teach from my mat demonstrating and encouraging. I will offer modifications to make each pose accessible and offer adjustments and assists when required and of course invited. All I ask is you bring an open mind and give it a go.

At the end of 2021, I retired from my corporate role to focus my time and attention on things that mattered most to me.  Having carved out a successful career in HR for 30 years, I was ready to focus 100% on teaching fitness and yoga classes as well having time to spend creating more happy memories with family and friends.

The transition has been a challenging one - my body and mind broken from working too hard for too long.  It took around 18 months to peel back the layers, heal and re-grow.  During this time, I undertook learning in new modalities including Yoga Nidra, Naad Yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates and Bodywheel TherapyTM.  In October 2023, after 24 years living and working in London, I am settling in to the community of Auchterarder where I am closer to my family.

My mantra is to be happy, strong, and kind.

To be able to lead and guide people in fitness and yoga practices is a joy.  Whatever the modality, sharing the opportunity to nourish both the body and mind is the best job in the world.

  • Yin, Nidra, Yang/Yin, 26/2, Inferno Hot Pilates, Naad (sound) Yoga, BodyWheel TherapyTM, Bodypump

  • Sharing her love of yoga and fitness, enabling others to benefit from nourishment of both the body and mind, changing lives for the better through regular practice.  Creating a space where people feel challenged, balanced and working in their boundaries.

Hi I’m Jacquie

My journey began at the Glasgow School of Art, where I graduated with Honours in Graphic Design. Over the years, I’ve worn many creative hats—working as a Graphic Designer, College Lecturer, and running my own successful Graphic Design Company.

Alongside my creative career, I’ve always had a deep love for health and fitness. That passion eventually took me down a new path—training first as a Callanetics Teacher, then expanding into Pilates and BarreConcept. This wasn’t just a career choice; it was also a personal healing journey. After struggling with chronic back pain for nearly a decade, these practices helped me regain my strength and mobility. The transformation was so profound that I knew I wanted to share it with others.

As a teacher, nothing gives me more joy than helping my clients move with ease, reduce pain, and feel stronger in their own bodies. I’ve been fortunate to train with some of the most respected names in the industry, including Lolita San Miguel, Michael King, Emma Newham, and Rachel Holmes, which has deepened both my knowledge and my teaching style.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me at my desk creating websites for clients across the globe—from the USA to Dubai—or down in London spending time with my two lovely granddaughters, who keep me on my toes in a very different way!

For me, fitness isn’t just about exercise; it’s about empowering people to feel good in their bodies, move without pain, and rediscover their confidence. And that’s exactly what I aim to bring to every class I teach..

My Mantra: Crafting welllness one movement at a time.

Hi there, I’m Emilia Prus

a dedicated Pilates teacher and kinesiologist who passionately believes in the innate healing abilities of the human body. Inspired by my own transformative experience attending local Pilates classes in London, I decided to embark on a journey to become a certified Pilates teacher.

Before entering the realm of Pilates and kinesiology, my professional background led me through the bustling diamond jewellery trade after gaining a master's degree in geology and a degree in gemmology; I spent several years immersed in this dynamic industry.

My personal health challenges, including lower back pain and an autoimmune disorder, became a nudge for my exploration into alternative modalities. Embracing a holistic approach that encompassed various movement practices, functional medicine, and dietary considerations, I discovered the profound impact of mind-body-spirit connections on overall well-being.

In my pursuit of knowledge and expertise, I underwent training with esteemed institutions such as Body Control Pilates, The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology TASK in London, and Kinetic Chain Release in Scotland. The diverse training equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of movement, holistic health, and the intricate connections between the body's systems.

  • Prior to my relocation to Perthshire, I taught Pilates among various studios in London and Kent where I trained group, private as well as corporate classes, reflecting my versatility and commitment to making movement accessible to all.

From all my experiences my greatest joy is teaching rehabilitative classes which I had the pleasure to teach for a physiotherapy clinic in south-east London. The main focus of these sessions is to help clients with recovery from post-op injuries, joint replacement, arthritis, low back pain, frozen joints, osteoporosis, or osteopenia.

My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that Pilates not only builds physical strength but also cultivates a profound sense of relaxation that harmonises the body and mind. I’m grateful to witness the progress and growing strength of my clients, reflecting the positive impact of my guidance on their recovery.

As a firm advocate for the body's natural self-repair mechanisms, I’m dedicated to empowering others to tap into their own innate ability to heal. My journey as a Pilates teacher and kinesiologist is marked by a genuine passion for helping individuals from all walks of life achieve holistic well-being, embodying the transformative power of movement and mindful living.

I found yoga after sustaining a spinal cord injury. Fortunately, I regained the ability to walk with the help of intensive physiotherapy. But when Covid put a stop to sessions, with still a way to go for me to regain full motor function, I needed to find a form of self-rehabilitation. I discovered Yoga with Adriene on YouTube, after recommendation from some yogi friends, rolled out a mat and got started. A spark was lit! I trained to be a yoga teacher with the Kootenay Yoga School on the Isla Mujeres, Mexico. A vinyasa and yin focused learning, I gained a holistic perspective of yoga including guiding different body types through poses and a working insight into anatomy and understanding chakras. Also, that there’s no perfect pose in yoga. Plus, and most importantly, props aren’t just for beginners!

What began as a form of rehabilitation is now a lifestyle. Yoga gives me physical mobility and calms my

mind. I still find things challenging because of my injury (hello backbends!). Regular practice has taught

me acceptance and how to move through trauma. Since learning more about somatic yoga - a trauma-

informed practice - I’ve discovered how just as we store trauma in our bodies from physical or mental

injuries or, so yoga can help release it.

I’ll always offer modifications, am happy to provide assists and of course, welcome the wobbles which

come with every yoga practice!
